Funding Your Account

Before you can start trading on B3X AI Navigator, you need to deposit funds to your chosen DEX. This guide explains how to deposit USDC/USDT to Hyperliquid, Aster, and Lighter using the integrated deposit interface.

Overview​

B3X AI Navigator uses native bridge protocols from each DEX to facilitate deposits. The deposit process varies by DEX:

Hyperliquid & Aster:

  1. You send USDC/USDT to your wallet address on Arbitrum
  2. The DEX's native bridge automatically detects the deposit
  3. Funds are credited to your trading account within 5-10 minutes

Lighter:

  1. You generate a unique Intent Address through the deposit modal
  2. You send USDC to the Intent Address from Arbitrum, Base, or Avalanche
  3. Lighter processes the deposit via Circle's CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol)
  4. Funds are credited to your trading account within 5-10 minutes

You can start trading immediately after funds arrive on any DEX.

Supported Tokens
  • Hyperliquid: USDC on Arbitrum
  • Aster: USDT on Arbitrum
  • Lighter: USDC on Arbitrum, Base, or Avalanche

Prerequisites​

Before depositing, ensure:

  • ✅ Account setup completed (Account Setup Guide)
  • ✅ Email authenticated and wallet created
  • ✅ Signing authority delegated to backend
  • ✅ You have USDC/USDT in a wallet on the supported network

Deposit Method​

Deposit funds through the integrated deposit modal accessible from the Settings page.

Step 1: Access Deposit Modal​

  1. Navigate to Settings from the sidebar
  2. Click the "Deposit" button
  3. The deposit modal will open

Step 2: Select Destination DEX​

Choose which DEX you want to deposit to:

  • Hyperliquid: USDC on Arbitrum
  • Aster: USDT on Arbitrum
  • Lighter: USDC on Arbitrum/Base/Avalanche

Click the DEX card to select it. A checkmark will appear when selected.

First Deposit to Aster or Lighter

When you make your first deposit to Aster or Lighter, B3X automatically generates and configures the required API keys for you. No manual setup needed—just deposit and start trading!

Step 3: Select Network (Lighter Only)​

If depositing to Lighter, select your source chain:

  • Arbitrum (Chain ID: 42161)
  • Base (Chain ID: 8453)
  • Avalanche (Chain ID: 43114)

Lighter uses Circle's CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) to automatically bridge funds from any supported chain.

Step 4: Get Your Deposit Address​

The modal displays:

  • QR Code: Scan with your mobile wallet
  • Wallet Address: Your Arbitrum wallet address (Hyperliquid/Aster) or Intent Address (Lighter)
  • Copy Button: Copy address to clipboard
  • Explorer Button: View address on block explorer

For Hyperliquid/Aster:

  • Send USDC/USDT to your Arbitrum wallet address
  • The same address shown in Settings

For Lighter:

  • Send USDC to the generated Intent Address
  • Intent address is unique per user
  • Lighter automatically processes the deposit via CCTP

Step 5: Send Funds​

Using your external wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.):

  1. Copy the deposit address from the modal
  2. Open your wallet app
  3. Select the correct network (Arbitrum, Base, or Avalanche)
  4. Send USDC/USDT to the copied address
  5. Confirm the transaction

Minimum Deposit: 5 USDC/USDT

Network Verification

Always verify you're sending to the correct network:

  • Hyperliquid: Arbitrum only
  • Aster: Arbitrum only
  • Lighter: Arbitrum, Base, or Avalanche (match your selection)

Sending to the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds.

Step 6: Wait for Confirmation​

After sending:

  1. Transaction Confirmation: Wait for blockchain confirmation (1-2 minutes)
  2. Auto-Deposit Processing: DEX bridge detects and processes deposit (3-8 minutes)
  3. Funds Available: Balance updates in Portfolio page

Total Time: 5-10 minutes typically

You can close the deposit modal and continue using the platform. Refresh the Portfolio page to see updated balances.

Verifying Your Deposit​

Check Balance​

After deposit completes:

  1. Navigate to Portfolio
  2. Select the DEX tab (Hyperliquid, Aster, or Lighter)
  3. View Perp Balance section
  4. Confirm Asset shows your USDC/USDT deposit

Check Transaction Status​

To verify transaction on blockchain:

  1. Click "Explorer" button in deposit modal
  2. View transaction on Arbiscan/Basescan/Snowtrace
  3. Check transaction status and confirmations

Using AI Chat​

You can also check balance via AI chat:

What's my balance on Hyperliquid?
Show my Aster perpetual balance

The AI agent will fetch and display your current balance.

Deposit Limits​

Minimum Deposits​

  • All DEXs: 5 USDC/USDT minimum

Maximum Deposits​

  • No maximum: You can deposit any amount

For beginners, we recommend:

  • $50-100 USDC/USDT: Enough to trading with small positions

Deposit Fees​

Network Fees​

You only need to pay the gas fee when making a deposit transaction from your source account on your external wallet.

Bridge Fees​

  • Hyperliquid: No bridge fees
  • Aster: No bridge fees
  • Lighter CCTP: No bridge fees

B3X Fees​

  • Deposits: FREE - No fees for deposits

Troubleshooting​

Deposit Not Showing After 10 Minutes​

Possible Causes:

  1. Transaction not confirmed on blockchain
  2. Sent to wrong network
  3. Amount below minimum (5 USDC/USDT)
  4. Wrong token sent (e.g., USDT instead of USDC)

Solutions:

  1. Check transaction on block explorer
  2. Verify correct network and token
  3. Wait up to 15 minutes for processing
  4. Contact support if issue persists

Wrong Network Deposit​

If you sent to wrong network:

  • Check if wallet address exists on that network
  • Contact support for recovery options

Prevention:

  • Always verify network before sending
  • Double-check address matches
  • Send small test amount first

Transaction Failed​

Common Reasons:

  • Insufficient gas fees
  • Network congestion
  • Incorrect address format

Solutions:

  • Increase gas limit in wallet
  • Wait for network congestion to clear
  • Verify address is correct EVM format (0x...)

Balance Not Updating​

Solutions:

  1. Click refresh button in Portfolio page
  2. Hard refresh browser (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R)
  3. Check if delegation is still active in Settings
  4. Re-authenticate if session expired

Security Best Practices​

  1. Verify Addresses: Always double-check deposit addresses
  2. Test First: Send small amount first for large deposits
  3. Bookmark Official Site: Only use chat.b3x.ai
  4. Check Network: Verify correct network in wallet before sending
  5. Save Transaction Hash: Keep record of transaction for support
