First Trade Tutorial

Execute your first trade on B3X AI Navigator using natural language commands. This quick tutorial walks you through a simple perpetual futures trade.

Prerequisites​

  • ✅ Account setup completed (Account Setup)
  • ✅ Funds deposited to your DEX (Funding Account)
  • ✅ At least $50-100 USDC/USDT available balance
Start with Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid offers deep liquidity and competitive fees, making it ideal for your first trade.

Your First Trade​

Navigate to the Chat page and follow these steps:

1. Check Your Balance​

Type: What's my balance on Hyperliquid?

The AI will show your available USDC balance.

2. Place a Market Order​

Type: Long 0.01 BTC on Hyperliquid with 2x leverage

The AI will:

  1. Set leverage to 2x for BTC
  2. Show order summary with estimated entry price, margin required, and liquidation price
  3. Ask for confirmation

Type yes to confirm. The AI executes the order and shows your position details.

3. View Your Position​

Type: Show my positions on Hyperliquid

The AI displays your position with entry price, current PnL, leverage, and liquidation price.

Type: Set stop-loss for my BTC position at $42,500

The AI shows the stop-loss summary and asks for confirmation. Type yes to set it.

5. Close Your Position​

Type: Close my BTC position on Hyperliquid

The AI shows position summary and asks for confirmation. Type yes to close and realize your profit/loss.

Always Confirm Orders

The AI always asks for confirmation before executing trades. Review the order summary carefully before confirming.

Common Commands​

Check Balance: What's my balance?

Open Position: Long 0.1 ETH with 5x leverage or Short BTC with 3x leverage

View Positions: Show my positions

Set Stop-Loss: Set SL for my ETH position at $2500

Close Position: Close my ETH position or Close all positions

Best Practices​

  1. Start Small: Use $10-50 positions with 2-3x leverage
  2. Always Use Stop-Loss: Protect every position, risk max 1-2% per trade
  3. Avoid High Leverage: Stay under 10x leverage as a beginner
  4. Check Before Trading: Verify balance and existing positions

Fees​

B3X Trading Fee:

  • Hyperliquid: 0.01$ + 0.05% on notional value
  • Aster & Lighter: 0% (coming soon)

DEX Fees: Varies by DEX and market (Lighter has zero fees)

Example: Open $1,000 position on Hyperliquid using market order will cost ~$0.95 total fees (0.05% B3X + 0.045% Hyperliquid)

Troubleshooting​

Insufficient Balance: Reduce position size, lower leverage, or deposit more funds

Position Not Found: Check Show my positions - position may have been closed or liquidated

Order Failed: Verify sufficient balance and correct market symbol
